Depart Australia on your South African Airways flight to Johannesburg.

23 August 2017: Makgadikgadi Pans

On arrival connect with your short flight to Maun, gateway to Botswana. On arrival you will be met and transferred by road towards the Salt Pans for 2 nights at Planet Baobab. This lodge is one of the most unique places to stay when visiting the Makgadikgadi Pans, reflecting the traditional building methods of the original inhabitants – the Bushmen of Botswana. This afternoon enjoy a sundowner drink and a visit to the Pans and spectacular Baobab Tree.

24 August 2017: Makgadikgadi Pans

Today we enjoy an excursion to the Ntwetwe Pan on Quad bikes and have the opportunity to experience the meerkats that inhabit these areas. A truly unique experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

25 August 2017: Pans – Nata

Enjoy breakfast then depart by road towards Nata for overnight accommodation at Elephant Sands – a bush lodge in the north-eastern part of Botswana. View the elephants at our natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink only a couple of metres away from you, a unique experience! There is plenty of other wildlife around as well on our unfenced 16,000ha private conservancy.

26 August 2017: Chobe National Park

This morning we transfer by road into the Chobe National Park for three nights accommodation at Mowana Safari Lodge located on the Chobe River Front including meals and activities. This afternoon a sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

27/28 August 2017: Chobe National Park

During our stay we enjoy a full day game drive into the park with a picnic lunch plus an opportunity to witness a variety of wildlife on your early morning game drive and late this afternoon set off on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

29 August 2017: Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the lodge. Depart by road and cross the Botswana/Zimbabwe border and onto Victoria Falls. Check into the A’Zambezi River Lodge for 3 nights accommodation including breakfast daily.A’Zambezi River Lodge, nestling on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, is the perfect retreat to relax and unwind in the quiet ambience of the African wild life and nature.Afternoon sunset cruise on the might Zambezi River.

30 and 31 August 2017: Victoria Falls

During our stay in Victoria Falls we have included a guided walking tour of the falls and 2 x dinners – Lookout Café perched 120m above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River and a traditional Boma dinner with dancing and African drumming.Optional touring in Victoria Falls can be arranged.

01 September 2017: Hwange National Park

Head south-west to Hwange National Park – a wildlife conservancy famous for its wildlife population. We board the unique Elephant Express train for a two hour journey into the park and onto our accommodation under canvas for 3 night at Bomani Tented Camp including all meals and activities.Overnight at Bomani Tented Camp, 3 Nights, BLD

02 and 03 September 2017: Hwange National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park. Hwange is all about wildlife, so game drives with an expert guide are the order of the day at Bomani. During your stay you will also have the opportunity to visit the local school and community project.

04 September 2017: Depart

The last day of our unforgettable journey has arrived. We enjoy a final delicious breakfast together before transferring back to Victoria Falls to connect with your flight via Johannesburg to Australia.
